Ellen Britt for CNT #NFT
If you are like many people, you may be wondering if NFTs are just a passing fad, flash-in-the-pan kind of thing, or are they really here to stay? We can get some clues by observing what big corporations are doing!
It’s one thing for your average Joe or Jane to hop into the NFT game, but when big players such as Coca-Cola, Walmart, Mercedes-Benz, Crocs, and even the NFL are getting in on the action, it’s time to at least start paying attention.
Insiders Are Talking!
But now, it’s being reported that insiders at the Financial Times have good reason to believe that Facebook and Instagram are positioning themselves to help you make, and sell NFTs.
The company isn’t commenting just yet, but apparently is actively exploring the space. Facebook already has its Novi wallet in development which would support functionality. Plus, Facebook, whose company name is now “Meta” (Short for the metaverse. Get it?) could capitalize on selling NFTs within its virtual worlds.
Stay Alert!
Listen, big companies are traditionally pretty slow to move on anything new until it’s proven itself. For so many of these big corporations to already be in the NFT ballgame is a pretty clear signal. So stay alert!
