FDA Recalls Hummus Sold in 23 States Due to an Undeclared Allergen

The FDA is recalling hummus that's been sold in 23 states because of an undeclared allergen in the popular dip. According to an alert from the agency that was published on October 25, the hummus in question was produced by Massachusetts-based Cedar's Mediterranean Foods. While the brand sells many different hummus varieties, the only one impacted by this recall is 10-ounce refrigerated plastic containers of Cedar's Organic Mediterranean Hommus.
