Dominique Ansel, French pastry chef and owner of Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City is the inventor of the Cronut, a croissant-donut hybrid that became a phenomenon.
Bring Back Those Flavors
The chef is celebrating the anniversary with a nine-piece NFT cronut collection that is bringing back retired flavors including strawberry, lemon verbena, guava and orange blossom.

The digital collection goes live on Wednesday, May 4, at 9 a.m. on the OpenSea platform. Cronut lovers will be able to get the real thing, including the five resurrected flavors at Ansel’s Soho bakery from May 13 to 15.
