Ellen Britt for CNT #NFT
Seems like everyone is getting into the NFT space these days, and it’s not just hearsay. Earlier this year, soft drink giant Coca-Cola auctioned off a collection of four NFTs uniquely packaged to attract buyers.
So how did Coca-cola structure its NFTs?
For International Friendship Day on July 30th, Coco-Cola offered four distinctive multisensory NFTs, auctioned as one lot:
One – A custom-designed futuristic Coca-Cola Bubble Jacket, which includes an unlockable version that can be “worn” in a 3D virtual reality metaverse
Two – The Friendship Box is a reimagining of the vintage Coco-Cola cooler as a loot box.
Three – The Sound Visualizer that brings the listener the iconic sounds of Coca-cola, from the “pop” of the bottle opening to the effervescent liquid being poured over ice.
Four – The Friendship Card which reimagines the classic 1948 Coke artwork which was used as the basis for a set of 1990’s trading cards, complete with motion, 3D features, and motion.
The Real Thing!
This auction was a resounding success, garnering a winning bid of $575,883.61. The winning bidder not only now owns the Coca-Cola NFTs, but also won a fully-stocked Coca-Cola refrigerator.
Now that’s the “Real Thing!”
