If you want to purchase a lifetime pass to the Coachella Festival, you can do so, but only if you buy the NFT that is associated with it.
The Coachella Keys Collection is an exclusive group of ten NFTs going up for sale on February 4th that will grant buyers lifetime Festival tickets. Not only do the token owners get a yearly pass, but they will also be granted access to Coachella-produced virtual experiences. Perks will also include such goodies as 2022 Festival front row access as well as a dinner hosted by a celebrity chef.
Arena Naming Rights
It’s not really surprising that the Coachella Festival is moving towards NFTs, as their parent company AEG just recently renamed the Staples Center the Crypto.com Arena. As these NFTs are resold, this could be quite profitable for the Coachella artists, photographers, design artists, and others involved, who will receive royalties.
Coachella Gives Back
Coachella is also going to sell 1,000 additional NFTs that will go for a much lower price of $180 that buyers can trade for a Coachella physical photo book. 10,000 NFTs will also be put up for sale for $60 each to get access to festival photos and soundscapes. The company will donate a percentage of NFT sales to Find Food Bank, GiveDirectly, and Liseres Campesinas.
