2022 Nissan Rogue Adds VC-Turbo Three-Cylinder for Better MPG, More Power

The 2022 Nissan Rogue has a new engine: a variable-compression-ratio turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder. The new 201-hp VC-Turbo replaces the old 181-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder as the Rogue's lone engine option. Nissan says the new engine gets up to 33 mpg combined, while its predecessor peaked at 30 mpg combined.
