Pilot files intellectual property lawsuit against Delta

By Kelly Yamanouchi, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Troy Warren for CNT A pilot has filed suit against Delta Air Lines, alleging the company stole his idea for a text messaging platform used by crews. The messaging app, which was rolled out in 2018, is used by gate agents, flight dispatchers, pilots, flight attendants and other workers who hustle to get planes out on time. Jason Cipriani | CNET.Com Troy Warren for CNT The next time your dishwasher breaks or you crack the screen on your phone, you just might be the one fixing it instead of spending a fortune on an authorized repair. It's happened to all of us at some point: That moment where you drop your smartphone, and your stomach turns as you watch it tumble to the floor. Then there's the split-second moment of suspense as you pick it up, praying it's still all in one piece. And if you see a crack, your next thought is usually, "How much is…

Ziply Fiber home internet review: So far, so good

David Anders | CNET.Com Troy Warren for CNT Since acquiring networks in the Northwest from Frontier Communications last year, Ziply Fiber has largely impressed with simple pricing and gigabit speeds. Ziply Fiber is one of the newest contenders in home internet, officially launching service in May 2020 after relieving Frontier Communications of all DSL and fiber networks in Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. The company's short time in business makes it difficult to give a full, in-depth review, but it's safe to say that Ziply Fiber is off to a good start.  After a year or so of service, Ziply Fiber stands…

The nearly 71-year-old Branson and five crewmates from his Virgin Galactic space tourism company reached an altitude of about 53 miles over the New Mexico desert — enough to experience three to four minutes of weightlessness and see the curvature of the Earth — and then safely glided back home to a runway landing. “Seventeen years of hard…

BMW’s CE04 electric scooter is coming from the future to save the planet

Tim Stevens | CNET.Com Troy Warren for CNT BMW's new scooter gets a major tech boost plus a manga-approved design. The electric mobility revolution is already sweeping the four-wheeled world, with dozens of players vying for a small but quickly growing wedge of the overall car market. For the two-wheeled side of things, that growth is happening more slowly -- despite the best efforts of players like Harley-Davidson.
