Thursday’s report from the Labor Department showed that jobless claims increased by 2,000 from the previous week to 373,000. By The Associated Press Troy Warren for CNT WASHINGTON — The number of Americans applying for unemployment aid fell again last week to the lowest level since the pandemic struck last year, further evidence that the job market and the broader economy are rebounding rapidly from the coronavirus recession.
